Serpent Choker
Athena is seen in many images of Classic Art and Mythology wearing her father's Aegis. An Aegis is a shield-like breast covering. Zeus' Aegis had the head of Medusa on it. Medusa was a gorgon who had snakes for hair and could turn men into stone with a single look. This serpent choker is inspired by the Aegis. It wraps freely around your neck as a serpent would. Wearing it might not turn any men into stone but you will certainly receive many compliments.
This choker is 19 1/2" in length and made with Copper Wire, Turquoise Stones, and Gold Plated Spacers. The Head is made of Serpentine and the eye is Swarovski Crystal. This necklace does not have a clasp but stays open in the front.
