Thetis was set to marry the mortal Peleus. They had a magnificent wedding. Unfortunately it was at their wedding that the events leading to the Trojan War began. Ironically, it was at the Trojan War that the great Greek Warrior Achilles, son of Thetis, was killed. This beautiful necklace of shell and pearl would have been very appropriate for a sea nymph's wedding celebration. Unfortunately it was a celebration that led to her son's death.

This necklace is made with Natural Shells off the beach and Freshwater Pearls in a variety of colors and sizes. It measures 16" in length and closes with a silver-plated barrel clasp. *Please note that the size and color of the seashells may vary*
